Snow Storms, Coffee, Donuts
It's been a pretty eventful past few weeks with NYFW, and quite a variety of both work and personal projects all occurring simultaneously. For fashion week, I went to a number of really awesome presentations; my favorites were Ulla Johnson, Simon Miller, and Opening Ceremony. I always appreciate what these brands do creatively with the space.
We also checked out a new coffee spot in Williamsburg called Sweatshop, which we fell in love with. It's run by two of the coolest and nicest Australian guys and serve the most delicious coffee and espresso drinks, as well as the best donuts The shop is design-focused and serves as a creative space for both for the owners as well as visitors so it has a nice sense of community.
I hosted a lovely #BrunchWithDrJart event last weekend at The Standard, High Line with some fabulous ladies. I am a pretty devoted user of Dr.Jart skincare and loved that this event focused on their signature sheet masks. They are absolutely heavenly (the Brightening Infusion one is my favorite!). We were blessed with really beautiful weather that day, and was funny just the day before we were hit with a huge snow storm.
The hubby and I were also featured on The Cut, shot by Bek Anderson. All the couples stories are so cute, and it's really sweet reading a snippet of how they all met.
An enormous project the Barneys New York web team and I've been working on the past year also launched this past week! I am so proud of everyone as we all worked so hard on it. Make sure to check out the new Barneys.com, BarneysWarehouse.com, and TheWindow.Barneys.com! It's a cleaner, fresher, and more seamless experience with personalized content. We will continuously improve on it, so stay tuned! Hope you all like it, happy shopping :)
