Christmas In Los Cabos
"The most sublime point between the desert and the sea."
Hoon and I spent our Christmas weekend at the warm and sophisticated JW Marriott Los Cabos. Designed by Jim Olsen, a world-renowned architect, it opened less than two years ago in the fall of 2015. It was a full house this stay, with all 299 rooms and suites filled with guests seeking a chic getaway from their daily lives. The aesthetic of the property was like none other, and it was apparent that every detail was accounted for. The soft neutral tones of the rooms with marble, wood, and natural textures paid homage to the Baja California Peninsula desert and the sea. With a vantage point of the Sea of Cortez from every perspective throughout the resort, we were taken by its beauty. There was no shortage of pool-time either as the 11 infinity pools of fresh water and salt water kept us busy when we were not dipping our toes into the ocean. Special thanks to Laura for taking care of us and thank you JW Marriott for an amazing holiday away under the warm Mexican sun.
