We moved into our small but mighty one-bedroom apartment home in Brooklyn four years ago, and it has evolved quite a bit since then! Slowly changing out certain pieces to refresh while keeping some of the cores has helped us maintain our minimal aesthetic and develop it a bit deeper. Do you notice the differences?

The biggest change was our sofa. Mario Bellini’s Camaleonda we purchased from B&B Italia is a dream piece for me and a special investment. I was honored to speak about it recently in Vogue! Changing out our rugs also made a huge impact; the Sial Rug from DWR in the living room and Modern from Nordic Knots in our bedroom give an elevated neutral foundation that we could build upon. Our new dining table and upholstered chairs from MENU also completely changed the vibe of our dining and kitchen space. The warmth of the fabric in the chairs paired with the dark stained oak and dimensional stone really gives great character.

Here are also some of our favorite brands for home:
Design Within Reach
Ferm Living
Hay
Hem
MENU
Muuto
Nordic Knots
Norm Architects
Normann Copenhagen
Primary Essentials
Sawkille Co.
