Kenoza Hall Nestled In The Catskills
We spent the holidays at Kenoza Hall, the newest property from Foster Supply Hospitality. After a quick 2-hour drive from NYC, we found ourselves upstate in the Catskills surrounded by fresh air and winter in all its glory.
A wonderful place to recharge and reflect, the hotel offered guided meditation and custom hike trails (in snowshoes!). The hotel also featured plenty of other activities to partake in, from a morning “Morgen Lauf” walk to the full Hemlock Spa, offering multiple treatment rooms, movement studio, pool, hot tub, and sauna. We actually spent a lot of time down by the lake, taking in Kenoza Lake's scenery from the shoreline.
My favorite part of our stay was the food! The newly added lake view restaurant at Kenoza Hall is rooted in a re-emergence of Old World Continental Cuisine. Breakfast and lunch are also available to hotel guests.
Founded by Foster Supply Hospitality, I should also mention their A Single Bite program. It is an interactive, volunteer-presented initiative since COVID-19 has shifted its food-based mission from education to helping feed local families at risk for hunger. Since mid-March, over 50,000 meals have been prepared and delivered to families across Sullivan County.
Lunch on our last day was in the new Winter Catskills "cabanas" exclusive to hotel guests. The cabanas are equipped with cozy lounge seating, wood stove with all the essentials, books and board games, hand sanitizer and winter hiking gear.
We visited the nearby Buck Brook Alpaca Farm! Alpacas the absolute cutest and each one had such a personality.
We made our way into town, although most stores and restaurants were closed for the season. We drove through Callicoon and Livingston Manor, but I hear Rosecoe and Narrowsburg are worth a visit as well!
Special thanks to Foster Supply Hospitality and Kenoza Hall for hosting our lovely stay upstate.
