Etéreo, Auberge Resorts

Last November, we had the pleasure of spending five blissful days at Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. If you're searching for an unforgettable escape, look no further than this stunning resort. Situated on a pristine stretch of beach, guests are treated to unparalleled views of the turquoise waters and white sand beaches of the Caribbean. What's more, Etéreo is easily accessible for those traveling from the East Coast. With a relatively short flight from New York, we were able to leave behind the frigid winter and indulge in the luxurious retreat.

From the moment you step foot on the property, you'll be surrounded by natural beauty and tranquility. The resort is designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings, with lush landscaping and stunning views from every angle. Guests can relax in one of the resort's many infinity pools, or enjoy a day of pampering at the world-class spa.

The accommodations at Etéreo are nothing short of luxurious. The resort offers a range of room types, from spacious suites to private villas, each designed to provide guests with the utmost comfort and privacy. Many of the rooms feature private outdoor spaces, including plunge pools, perfect for taking in stunning views.

One of the highlights of Etéreo is its culinary offerings. The resort's restaurant, Itzam, offers a modern twist on traditional Mexican cuisine, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. The restaurant's stunning setting, overlooking the sea, makes it the perfect place to enjoy a romantic dinner or celebrate a special occasion.

Upon entering Sana Spa, we were immediately transported to a serene and peaceful sanctuary of tranquility and wellness. With a philosophy that emphasizes balance and harmony, it offered an oasis of serenity where we indulged in a variety of luxurious treatments designed to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Drawing on ancient Mayan healing techniques, Sana Spa provided a truly transformative experience that left us feeling revitalized and rejuvenated.

One of the highlights was the incredible hot stone massage, which was both deeply relaxing and invigorating. The spa's skilled therapists used warm, smooth black obsidian stones to soothe our muscles and ease tension while also helping to cleanse away negative energy and bring in stability and balance. The experience left us feeling not only renewed and restored but also more centered and grounded.

We made it a daily ritual to have lunch at El Changarro, which is situated right on the beach. The highlight of our culinary adventure was undoubtedly the octopus and shrimp ceviche, which was simply out of this world. Even now, I find myself daydreaming about the mouth-watering flavors and textures of that dish

With its stunning setting, world-class amenities, and exceptional service, it's no wonder Etéreo is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after destinations in the region. We're already planning our next trip to this exceptional resort!

Special thanks to Etéreo and Auberge Resorts for our beautiful experience in the Riviera Maya.
