Visit: Flowerhouse Korea

Visit: Flowerhouse Korea

This heartwarming exhibition in Seongsu was a collaborative effort between Flowerhouse Korea and UNICEF Korea, harnessing the beauty of flowers for good. The leading exhibition began with empty branches, and over a few days, visitors could pick a flower stem from a downstairs exhibit area, bring it upstairs, and decorate the branches. We visited on the last day, and I'm glad we did because the branches were fully adorned, creating a deeply emotional experience as it was an artwork completed by the entire community. Additionally, there was a space upstairs where visitors could donate to UNICEF and receive a floral bouquet as a gift. They are planning another exhibition at the end of September at Cociety, which I won't be in town for, but if you are, I highly recommend it. I'm excited to see more.

Dine: 레이호스시 Reiho Sushi

Dine: 레이호스시 Reiho Sushi

An authentic sushi spot in the new Sinsa Square building, led by Japanese Chef Tsuchida Hidenobu, offers an exceptional omakase menu. What sets this place apart is its focus on cooking fish in various ways, not just the traditional raw sushi and sashimi. The grilled and tempura fish were particularly delicious. The modern, design-centric space added to the experience. We enjoyed the lunch menu for ₩150,000 ($108) and left feeling very full.

Beauty: Holika Holika My Fave Infusing Blush

Beauty: Holika Holika My Fave Infusing Blush

I've been obsessed with the under-eye blush look, and when I arrived in Korea, I went on a shopping spree for all the soft, muted, peachy shades that match my warmer skin tone. I love applying it right under the eyes for a youthful look. I love many Korean brands, like 3CE, WakeMake, Rom&nd, Hince, and Hera, but I picked up this Holika Holika one just before my Japan trip because it has a brush included. The color payoff isn't the strongest, but I prefer this because I can easily layer it for a softer look.

This baby blue top from Dunst is perfect for the season. The soft and chic color pairs well with anything – pants, shorts, or skirts. It's easy to wear and a stylish way to stay cool in the heat.

Bag: Miu Miu Leather-Trim Canvas Tote Bag

Bag: Miu Miu Leather-Trim Canvas Tote Bag

I love my mini bags, but I've been reaching for oversized totes more often, especially when traveling with my cameras. This Miu Miu tote is the perfect size, and its canvas material gives off a great summery vibe. I usually carry it by hand, but it also fits over the shoulder when I'm not wearing layers. It’s very "Jane Birkin-fiable", and I love accessorizing it with various charms.
