Brunch and Art
Enjoyed a delicious Saturday brunch at Barchetta, an Italian restaurant serving a seasonal, seafood-focused menu in Chelsea this past weekend and stopped by a few galleries afterwards. So many good exhibitions going on this time of year, it's been sort of a weekly thing – visiting a few every time. Favorite stops always include Mary Boone, Pace, and Gagosian. At Barchetta, we tried the yellowfin tuna crudo and oysters, uova di pollo (soft-scrambled eggs, jumbo lump crabmeat), aragosta (montauk lobster roll), and a pasta with lump crabmeat for entrees. Brunch was lovely, but I'm sure dinner would be fabulous as well, as their crudo menu changes everyday depending on the market and what is freshest that day.
Gearing up this week for winter as it's dipping into the 50s – brrr! Airborne Chewables has been my best friend as of late, and am looking into getting some solid outerwear as I know it'll be what I'll be wearing for the next 8 months.
