Santorini Blues
Carved out of the cliffs, Oia was truly one of (if not the most) breathtaking places I have ever been to. With an abundance of pathways to discover surrounded by beautiful views every turn you take, it was a joy to explore. I was afraid that it would just be an overhyped location and tourist trap, but I have to say it was really as magical as they all claimed. I also think having visited late May was a good time as it wasn't super crowded and the weather wasn't sweltering (although it did get pretty hot during prime hours). We rented an ATV to drive through Fira, Imerovigli, and Kamari as well, which was an experience in itself. It was frightening and thrilling at the same time, but I definitely recommend it, as long as you stay fairly close to the main roads. The never-ending deep deep blues as you watch out over the ocean and the sunset over the caldera will be a memory instilled in me forever.
On a bit more colorful note, I wanted to mention my friends at Journy are giving away an incredible Mexico City VIP trip. Enter here to win :)
