Positano
Positano is one of those places where the postcards views match the real life views. With thunder thighs at the end of the day, climbing 48 flights of stairs the day we explored, the layers upon layers of coastal villages that spill down the hills left us in awe as we took in the breath-taking scenery everywhere we turned. I feel like the only other place with this kind of sensory was our visit to Santorini (Perviolas) and Mykonos last year. Even though our visit here was after high season (late September), you could still feel the energy of the beach-goers, tourists, and locals alike. Our hotel Casa Angelina provided complimentary shuttles into Positano, so it was really convenient to get in and out. The Marina here is also one of the major hubs where you can visit any of the other coastal towns, so we took advantage of that and took a ferry out to Capri the last day (but more on that later!). I also want to mention Jamie of Amalfi Concierge is also a Amalfi Coast transplant from NY, and can help plan out anything you need for your next visit. Miss you beautiful Positano.... 'til next time.
